An annual excursion is organized for students for every academic session. Further, the school organizes planned visits to various places to enrich the students and to take learning beyond the four walls of the classroom.

Travel expands the horizons and school life cannot be complete without the fun of educational tours and excursions. These trips are tailor made to facilitate the students to know and understand the real, multicultural world. A host of activities are undertaken as a part of trips which act as a catalyst to think out of the box and broaden the outlook.

DPS Gosain Khera meticulously planned an excursion trip to Pratapgarh Farm, Jhajjar, Haryana from classes III to IX to add fun and enthusiasm. This trip also extended a much needed break from the hectic daily schedule and an opportunity for the facilitators and learners to bond with each other.

The rural setting of Pratapgarh Farm provides an opportunity to participate in the daily life of our village folk. This is like a rural gateway to an ethnic village which offers- sumptuous vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisine, live entertainment – folk music and dance, traditional handicrafts by artisans, sports and adventure activities in the background of lush green fields.

There students enjoyed Agriculture and Dairy Activities like Tending goats, cows, buffaloes, ploughing, sowing, reaping, winnowing. Students also enjoyed delicious delicacies – Neembu Shikanjee, Chacch, Tea and Pakoras, Makee Bajre ki roti with desi ghee, gur, lahsoon ki chatni. It was an incredible day picnic filled with unlimited music, dance, fun, games, activities and food.
